Background
Christian Brothers College is a proud Catholic College in the Edmund Rice tradition, with a community built on Faith, Excellence, Community and Compassion. Located in South Australia, the College supports around 965 students and 800 families. It uses Synergetic as its school management system and implemented School EasyPay in 2024.
The College wanted a centralised, modern payment portal that was secure, easy for families to use and backed by a proven provider: one that could support families through every stage of their son’s education at CBC.

The implementation

Easy implementation
The process took six months from sign-up to going live, allowing time to make sure all families were on board. Kane and the School EasyPay team provided hands-on support to guide the College through set-up.
Parent communication
CBC told parents about the change through its existing communication channels, with three months’ lead time to prepare families. Some parents were reluctant to move from familiar payment methods at first, so the College offered flexibility to families nearing the end of their child’s education.

Automated direct debit, parent self-service and timely reporting have made the most difference to day-to-day operations, and have improved the College’s monthly cash flow with smoother, more predictable fee collection.
